Hexaemeron
"Hexameron" is a short animation film that was created by four students, who were joined by
common passion. Using innovative 3D technology and custom tools "Hexaemeron” was brought to life. This film was realized through synthesis of points in three dimentional space creating a new visual style. Inspiration came from the first pages of the bible which describe the creation of the world in six days. The film was animated to music by the band Mindthings performing the instrumental melody "Rebirth" from the album "Life’s Path”.

1994 or thereabouts. There is a civil war in Burundi, the small African country immediately adjacent to Rwanda. A genocidal conflict opposes a rebellion driven by a majority of ethnic Hutus and a national army composed of a majority of ethnic Tutsis…
We are witnesses to one of those sadly frequent episodes in this fratricidal feud.: the attack by the rebels of a minibus transporting civil passengers.
A Kalashnikov bursts. The bus stops, the passengers get off. There follows the "selection" between the Hutus and the Tutsis. A line is drawn, the groups are separated, the questioning begins. But who is a Hutu, who is a Tutsi?
Entirely based on real characters, the film denounces – with emotion, veracity and a touch of wryness – the absurdity, of all ethnic conflicts.

Les Mains Noires: Procès de l'Esclave Incendiaire
Black hand is a 52 minutes documentary about a hidden story of Canadian history: the one of Angelique, a Black slave accused of burning Montreal in 1734. After an epic trial, this untamable slave is tortured and sentenced to death. But was she really guilty or wasn't she the victim of a bigger conspiracy? Why this voluntary amnesia about this unknown page of history? This film includes interviews with historians who not only talk about Angelique, but also about this general refusal to admit that slavery was part of Canadian history. Through a walking tour, a guide makes lively the streets of Old Montreal by telling us the important moments of Angelique's life. Finally, some key scenes of her existence are illustrated by reenactments filmed with the same style as Dogville by Lars Von Trier.

Bahia Benmahmoud, jeune femme extravertie, se fait une haute idée de l'engagement politique puisqu'elle n'hésite pas à coucher avec ses ennemis pour les convertir à sa cause - ce qui peut faire beaucoup de monde vu qu'en gros, tous les gens de droite sont ses ennemis. En règle générale, elle obtient de bons résultats.
Jusqu'au jour où elle rencontre Arthur Martin - comme celui des cuisines – quadragénaire discret, adepte du risque zéro. Elle se dit qu'avec un nom pareil, il est forcément un peu facho. Mais les noms sont fourbes et les apparences trompeuses...
