The short film Dire (Unspokenwords) depicts the chance encounter of two female artists at an open mic event. They come from opposite sides of the same trade –one is famous, the other one is struggling– but tonight, both women will transpose on stage their quite distinct realities, and particularly their daughter-mother relationships. More than a dark comedy-drama about the artist’s life and its realities, this film shows that friendship can exist despite the differences… and that it can sometimes begin at the craziest moments! PT
