Seemingly mild and introverted Alex leaves Sept-Îles to visit his father in Maine. Helped by a public registry and consumed by anger, he finds and tracks down sex offenders. Meanwhile, Rose follows in her son’s footsteps to try and understand what could have pushed him into this murderous madness. The film is loosely based on the story written by Stephen Marshall who made waves in Canada in 2006.
