In occupied Paris, young communists, French, Hungarian, Rumanian, Polish, Spanish, Italian, Armenian, sometimes Jewish, risk their life every day to defend the ideals of the Human Rights country by fighting in secret against the Nazi: distributing tracts and propaganda posters and planting bomb are their daily lot. Missak Manouchian, an Armenian poet, is placed at their head to channel their fiery energy and destabilize the occupant in an organised way. Carried by extraordinary actors, «L'Armée du Crime» moves not only because of its emotional power but also because of its educational brilliance.
