Robert Cornellier
Prolific director, producer, and script writer Robert Comellier started his career in 1978, with a documentary called "Une Autre Histoire des Pays d’en Haut. Un Regard Personnel sur l’Histoire de l’Abitibi".
In 2009, he presented "Le Tour des Rêves", his second full-length documentary, about the peregrinations of four teenagers participating in one of the most important junior-level bicycle races; the Tour de l'Abitibi.
In 2012-13, he co-wrote and produced the "Objectif Nord" series (4 x 52 min.). From Baie Comeau to Salluit, from Wemindji to Kuujjuaq, the series presented Quebec's north, through the stories and the experiences of over forty residents of the region.
In 2014, Comellier presented another documentary, "Retour à Hochelaga". The film deals with Aboriginals living in urban settings and especially in Montreal, a little-known but increasingly important issue in the last twenty years, bringing significant changes to the relations between Natives and non-Natives.
"Martin et les Dragons" is his third feature film.
