Biographie

Mehdi Fikri

Mehdi Fikri grew up in the northern suburbs of Paris. He worked for ten years as a journalist at the French newspaper l'Humanité, where he was responsible for writing about police and justice cases. Later, he became a screenwriter and worked on the series Hippocrate for Canal+, as well as Miskina and Ourika for Amazon. He is currently directing the writing of season 2 of the series 66.5 for Canal+. In 2020, he directed the short film Descente, which was selected at the Venice Film Festival. Avant que les flammes ne s'éteignent is his first feature film
