Biographie

Olivier Casas

Born in Bordeaux in 1976, Olivier Casas began his career in 1999, first as a cameraman, then as director of photography for documentaries. From 2008 to 2015, alongside writing and directing, Olivier Casas also expressed himself through contemporary art, as a painter and visual artist. He exhibits in various galleries under the pseudonym K ZAS. In 2016, he directed his first feature film, Baby Phone, a gritty, moving comedy about couples and parenthood. Olivier Casas, who also directs TV series, finished writing Frères en 2020, after years of discussions and regular meetings with Michel de Robert Lafregeyre, the story's only living protagonist.
