Renée Beaulieu

Renée Beaulieu holds a doctorate in film studies, a diploma in screenwriting from the Institut national de l'image et du son de Montréal and is a pharmacist. She wrote, produced, directed and edited her first three feature films, with a unique style, subjects rarely tackled in cinema, and a direct, frontal point of view. In 2007, she wrote the screenplay for Le Ring. Her other films include Le Garagiste (2015), Les salopes ou le sucre naturel de la peau (2018) and Ines (2021).
