Two friends spend a weekend in the Romanian countryside, hoping to find a home for one of them. They choose to spend the night in the house of an old lady in the village. In the middle of the night, a man turns up at their door and violently demands the money they've borrowed from him. The two friends, terrified, realize that they are in the debtor's room, and fear that the man will enter at any moment. When the situation escalates, they find themselves witnessing crimes they'd never have imagined.
