Daphne, a 12-year-old girl with extraordinary hearing, develops a unique relationship with some of the world’s largest and smartest mammals, whales and dolphins. One day, she saves a humpback whale that she finds tangled in fishing nets. A few hours later, she is, herself, saved by her best friend in the world, Elvar, a bottlenose dolphin.

Biographie

Jean-Claude Lord

Jean-Claude Lord was the first television film critic for Télé-Métropole and Radio-Canada between 1969 and 1972. He also wrote and directed a number of television series and feature films for television and the cinema, including Lance et compte. He later devoted himself to documentaries and has received international recognition for his work, winning several awards.
