Benoit Pilon
Benoit Pilon is an engaged Quebec director in the cinema wold. He was discovered with his documentaries Rosaire et la petite nation (1997) and Roger Toupin, épicier variété (2003), awarded in Quebec and internationnaly. On television, he directed among other, Réseaux (1998-1999),Trois sœurs en deux temps (2003) and Des nouvelles du Nord (2007). His first fiction feature film, Ce qu’il faut pour vivre (2008), was granted about twenty international prizes and then selected for the Oscar for Best Film in Foreign Language. Then, he directed Décharge (2011), Iqaluit (2016) and Le club Vinland (2020).
