“The Jokester,” better known as Marc-André Avon, is at a crossroads when his work in the drug-trade with his best friend Manuel Gingras turns sour. When Manuel's family life is jeopardized, Marc-André turns to his lifelong passion hoping to start a new career: stand up comedy. Camped in a redneck region of Quebec, the Jokester is torn by the idea of losing his best friend to reconnect with his family.
