Olivier Ayache-Vidal
After studying social sciences and communications, Olivier Ayache-Vidal began his career in advertising. He was interested in human relations, society and its representation, and began his work in 1992 and became a photo reporter. He traveled for 5 years on a UNESCO mission and produced about thirty reports. He wrote his first comic book screenplay in 1997 and created the series Fox One, translated into 5 languages and sold over 90,000 copies. In 2002, he devoted himself to cinema and made his first short film, Undercover, which won several international awards. He then directed Coming-out (2004) with Omar Sy, Mon dernier rôle (2006) with Patrick Chesnais, who won several awards, and the documentary Hôtel du Cheval Blanc (2007). He wrote and directed Welcome to China in 2012.
