Mia is a ten year old girl. Alerted by a feeling that something is going to happen, she decides to leave her native village somewhere in South America to look for her father who works at a gigantic construction site aiming to transform a tropical forest into a luxurious hotel residence. The road to finding her father is long. Mia must cross a faraway mountain, surrounded by a mystical forest populated by mysterious inhabitants.
