RÉSERVOIR

Kim St-Pierre

Canada | V.O. French | 2019 | 87 min | DCP | color | Fiction | World Premiere

At the funeral home, for once, Simon and Jonathan are on the same page: this religious farce is not like their late father. What if they dared do otherwise? This trivial idea turns into a breathtaking adventure. Shot in camera on a pontoon, sailing the winding expanse of Gouin Reservoir, Simon and Jonathan have no choice but to confront what they have become, to reconnect with themselves and to reveal themselves to one another. Meant to be a commemoration, this fishing trip turns into a real-life lesson.
