Biographie

Hlynur Pálmason

Of Icelandic nationality, Hlynur Pálmason began his career in visual arts and then turned to filmmaking. He studied cinema in Denmark and graduated in 2013 with an award-winning short film, A Painter. Pálmason’s first feature film Winter Brothers, was screened in world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival in 2017, winning four awards. Since then, his films have been sold in more than 20 countries and he continues his career in festivals and has won more than thirty awards. A White, White Day is his second feature film.
