Biographie

Philippe Falardeau

Philippe Falardeau is a Quebec director and screenwriter who was very successful with his first fiction feature film, La moitié gauche du frigo (2000). Congorama (2006), his second feature film won five prizes at the Soirée des prix Jutra 2007 and the Best Scenario at the Genie Awards. Multiple time awarded, C’est pas moi, je le jure! was invited in about sixty festivals and sold in more or less forty countries. In 2011, he signs Monsieur Lazhar, obtaining unanimous commercial and critique success. The movie goes to the Oscar in the Best Film in Foreign Language. He also directed The Good Lie (2013), Guibord s’en-va-t’en guerre (2015) and Chuck (2016).
