Peter Monsaert studied audiovisual art at the KASK in Ghent. His 2012 debut feature Offline, starring Wim Willaert and Anemone Valcke, received numerous awards. Monsaert also won prizes as director and co-author of the screenplay. The film was selected at many film festivals, including the Ghent Film Fest Ghent, Amiens and Aubagne.
