A cargo ship on the St-Lawrence River. A major incident happens in the engine room. Traoré, an Ivorian mechanic, is falsely accused. The ship is towed to the Lévis shipyard for repair work. Meanwhile, the ship?s crew is housed locally. Far away from his loved ones, losing his grounding, Traoré sinks into Quebec?s winter.

Biographie

Frédérick Pelletier

Frédérick Pelletier lives and works in Montreal. After studying Fine Arts, he attended Concordia University where he graduated in Film production. Critic and co-editor of film webzine Hors Champ , he also worked several years at the Cinémathèque québécoise and the National Film Board of Canada.

As director and screenwriter, he regularly works with public television as well as various private production companies. Author of several award-winning short films, he moved to feature film with Diego Star.
