Larissa Sadilova

Director and screenwriter, Larissa Sadilova is a graduate of the cinema school in Moscow. She played her first role in the movie Lev Tolstoy (1984). In 1998, she directed her first feature film, Bon anniversaire!, awarded many times. Often working with nonprofessional actors, her style is close to documentary. Her second feature film, With Love, Lilly (2002), won a Tiger Award in Rotterdam. Nothing Personal (2007) received the Prix FIPRESCI at the Moscow Film Festival. In the last decade, she wrote Fiston (2009), Elle (2013) and Country Show (2016).
