Biographie

Marc-Antoine Lemire

Montreal-based director and screenwriter Marc-Antoine Lemire approaches his filmmaking as a tool to achieve a certain freedom. He is guided by his passion for complex characters and the desire to generate emotions through their unique point of view. His latest short film, Pre-drink, has over 100 festivals under its belt and has won several awards including Best Canadian Short Film at TIFF in 2017. Mistral Spatial is his first feature film, which he self-produced. Deliberately cobbled together in a marginal way, the ambition of this film is in line with a desire to explore the medium and to make uncompromising cinema.
