Canada | V.O. French | 2023 | 99 min | DCP | color | Fiction | North America Premiere

There's Abdel, whose quiet life is turned upside down by the arrival of his extrovert cousin, whom he takes in for the summer; Fatima, who longs for a more stable existence and is trying to get away from her bad company; Toussaint, who goes fishing and finds a bottle washed up with a message inside. Then there's Naïma, Maya, Ayoub and the others. There's a remote-controlled car, a pastel castle lining the freeway, electric cicadas, a monolith and very powerful rays. A blend of fiction and documentary, Les Rayons Gamma is a comedy-drama filmed with young people from Montreal's Saint-Michel district.
