Each year, the Festival grants nine awards in the following categories:
This award goes to the feature film best appreciated by the audience. Voting is done by secret ballot, and a weighted average of the votes determines the audience’s favorite film.

This award, named Télébec until 2020 goes to the best short or medium length film, as determined by a regional jury on the basis of predefined criteria. The jury is appointed by the Festival’s organizing committee. The award comes with a $1,000 grant.

Unis TV joins hands with the Festival in an effort to present a new award at l’Espace court. The Unis TV award will be given to an upcoming filmmaker that had shown a project that sets itself apart from the others at Espace court. This award will allow to bring light on upcoming quebecers artists and motivate the cinematographic succession. This award given by the Espace court jury will be followed by 1000$ reward.
