Magical Caresses is a series of animated documentaries by Lori Malépart-Traversy, creator of the popular short film Le clitoris. A skillful blend of humour and confession, these four-minute episodes provide a range of female perspectives, taking a healthy and uninhibited approach to demystifying masturbation. The films’ source material is adapted from intimate accounts published in the Caresses magiques book series written and edited by Sarah Gagnon-Piché and Sara Hébert. Using the tremendous creative freedom afforded by animation, Malépart-Traversy tells these stories from a new angle, crafting a bold and insightful original series about solo sexuality.

silent figures of Ukrainian personalities, angels, Cossacks, and multiple copies of Jesus Christ are
frozen in anticipation of new creations. Craftsmen weld metal defense items for the Armed Forces
of Ukraine.

To reconnect with this territory, Guillaume Rivest, adventurer, and radio columnist, decided to cross the 680 km separating his native Abitibi from Montreal by Nordic ski to deliver his column live from the Radio-Canada headquarters.

As the pandemic has rekindled the concept of autonomy, a key question arises: is Canada in a position to one day become autonomous? What is this legacy that would allow us to seek autonomy? Are our natural resources at the heart of this autonomy? Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, there has been a lot of discussion about health products and drugs, and then food autonomy quickly became part of a new ideology. Canada is rich in natural resources; producing “here, for us” has been done in Quebec with the nationalization of electricity, for example. But what about our fresh water reserves, forests, minerals and ocean and land products? To be autonomous, we must be sovereign, masters of our own house and owner of our own territory and its resources. Are we in fact? Over the past 40 years, Canadians, like all western peoples, have embraced globalization, allowing us to obtain a wide variety of products at reasonable prices. Even whitefish from Vietnam has shown up on our plates! However, this globalization has had a number of negative effects, including the financialization of our resources. The pandemic, combined with a more nationalist government, has led us to believe in local production, here, for us. But is this minor revolution a utopian dream or is it achievable?

Accustomed to speaking on all the stands, he must make himself more discreet, even if he believes he still has a lot to say. Since no one can watch over him, he is placed in the care of Bérénice, a young girl who is a little rebellious and lost. Their meeting will lead Edouard to revisit a chapter from his personal history that he had chosen to forget, and Bérénice to find meaning in her life.

The documentary offers a privileged and moving look at the personal and political implications of the affair, providing an inside view of the challenges faced by a young refugee mother of three, both in her adopted home of Quebec and on the global stage.

French author, Romain Gary, who lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Jean Seberg, takes in a stray dog. That dog is soon a fixture in the house, charming the couple’s only son, Diego. The dog is affectionate with everyone – except Black people. The “white dog” has been trained to attack African American demonstrators.
For Seberg, who is a committed ally of the Black Panthers, keeping the dog is unthinkable. For Gary, putting it down is equally unthinkable. Gary becomes fixated on the animal. He can’t abandon it. He takes it to a kennel, hoping to cure it of the hatred that was instilled in it by humans. He entrusts the dog to Keys, a Black dog trainer, who promises to reform it. Keys, gripped by his own tragedy, does the job – and then some.
